I-95 to VA-620 section to be added
I-495 comes around a bend, moving from west to north. At the same time, we approach VA 620 (Braddock Road).
VA-620 to I-66 section to be added
Now we see the first reassurance marker past the I-66 merge. Note that the direction here is north, but because this changes frequently on I-495, I've elected to just call it the Inner Loop for the sake of consistency.
I-495 continues northward. Here we approach a mileage sign showing the distances to VA 7, VA 123, and VA 267, all of which are within 3 miles.
VA 7 (Leesburg Pike) is coming up. Continuing on it past Falls Church takes you to Alexandria, while continuing past Tysons Corner will take you to its namesake, Leesburg.
A bit of a sign salad here, we see the exit for VA 7 with a BGS for VA 123 coming up in a mile. On the other side of the stick barriers is the EZPass lane exit for VA 7 as well as a mileage sign to Westpark and Jones Branch Drives, both of which serve as local alternatives to get to VA 123.
If you would like to exit to VA 7, you can continue on the ramp ahead
VA 7 to VA 267 section to be added
The next exit is for VA 267 (Dulles Toll Road). Notice there is a secondary Dulles Airport control city - this is because the Dulles Access Road, also part of this exit but not exactly shown, is the free route that goes directly to Dulles International Airport (IAD). Also please note: it's pronounced "dull-es" (think the word 'dull' plus the letter 's' just said at the end). I've heard some atrocious takes before.
