I-495 in Maryland
Capital Beltway

I-495, also known as the Capital Beltway, is the major circumferential road around Washington D.C. It crosses through both Virginia and Maryland, as well as an extremely small section of D.C. over the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. For nearly half of I-495's mileage in Maryland, it is concurrent with I-95. I-495 passes through major D.C. suburbs like Bethesda, Greenbelt, College Park, Largo, and Capitol Heights.
