I-10 runs along the length of southern Louisiana from Texas to Mississippi. This section is from Downtown New Orleans at the I-10/Business US 90 interchange to the Louisiana/Mississippi border. This part of I-10 includes the eastern half of New Orleans, including New Orleans East, and Slidell.

As we move past US 190/Gause Boulevard, we approach the I-10/I-12/I-59 interchange. The reassurance marker past US 190 was installed in mid-2022.
