Do you like suburbia? Then this section of I-35 in Kansas may be up your alley! I-35 is the major highway between Kansas City and Wichita in Kansas, but it traverses through a series of Kansas City's sprawling suburbs, including Mission, Overland Park, Merriam, Lenexa, and Olathe. Other suburbs like Shawnee and Leawood are accessible via highways that connect to I-35.

Northbound

Photographed section is from 119th Street in Olathe to I-435 East in Lenexa

As we begin past 119th Street, we see signs for I-435's upcoming junction.
There's also two beauties in this section: a quadruple concurrency assembly and a Santa Fe Trail Auto Tour sign that's been around for a good while!

Local distance signs are everywhere in this area, it seems. We also a JCT K-10 sign pretty early - you have to exit to I-435 West to even see K-10. We'll be exiting on I-435 East.
