I-65 serves as a vital link through Indiana, linking the Chicagoland region to Louisville, KY via Indianapolis.


Southbound

Photographed section is from US 31 South (near 6th St/Court Ave) to the IN/KY border.

Approaching Kentucky is the tolled dual span of I-65: the older bridge is the John F. Kennedy Memorial Bridge, while the newer one is the Abraham Lincoln Bridge. We will be crossing the older bridge. The toll rates are listed on this sign below:

Hopping onto I-65 from the last possible ramp, we are immediately greeted with the Ohio River. Here we cross the JFK Memorial Bridge into Louisville, KY.
