I-24 is an interstate that runs for only four miles in Georgia. It runs from southern Illinois to just east of Chattanooga, TN, but the small Georgian section has a major junction with I-59's northern terminus. I-24's section in Georgia enters and exits out of Tennessee, so exit numbering is continuous from Tennessee.

Upon entering Georgia, we're greeted with a 'Welcome to Georgia' sign as well as an I-24 shield. The first exit in Georgia is GA 299, a short connector road to the town of Wildwood via US 11 and TN 134.
I-24 begins the approach to I-59 - any traffic heading towards Alabama or other deep southern points from here will likely hop on I-59. Traffic heading to Atlanta and other parts of Georgia will likely have taken I-75 before Chattanooga, while I-24 traffic will continue towards Nashville. We also get see some nice Georgia font BGS' - unfortunately these are being phased out, so enjoy them through these pics!
Passing I-59, I-24 has a turn back to the northwest and re-enters Tennessee as quick as it left it. Nashville now is just a 2-hour drive.
